Tonight was...interesting...
I don't think I've had this much drama in one evening for quite a while. An interesting change of pace to say the least, but I must admit, I'm quite relieved to say that the big controversy did not include me directly. Well, indirectly, but that's ok, it was only centering about the fact that my boy is awesome, which is never really a problem.
And I can happily say that I got the chance to tell off my soon to be ex-roommate on a small scale for leaving cooking appliances empty, dirty, and still turned on. It was nice, even if it makes no difference at all, you just don't take advantage of my mother's generosity.
Ah well, off to bed, lots of work tomorrow. Hope everyone makes it home ok tonight, and that no one ends up walking home in just a t-shirt, cause that's not cool.

I haven't blogged in so long, I almost forgot how to!
That was kind of funny. I felt that this week was going to be much more stressfull for some reason. Not sure why. I got my work pretty much as I wanted it this weekend, that is to say, 3 consecutive shifts following the pubcrawl friday night. Oh nelly I'm going to be tired sunday night.
Played squash tonight, and got tired a lot more quickly than normal. I don't take that as a good sign. It could have been my outstanding opponent. Yeah, we'll go with that.
I'm really not entirely certain what I'm going to be doing next year. Hopefully I'll get in to do my honors conversion, if not, get in as a research student. That would be cool. After that I have to convince Parks Canada that they really do need me to be a Park Warden and that they can give me a gun. That would be extra cool.

State of Emergancy my ass!
So what if we couldn't actually get out either door, or that we thought that the windows were going to blow in. Whatever. I shoveled for a while today, made me feel better about my arm muscles, but my hands are sore. It was fun watching people and their dogs play in the middle of the snow filled road. I wonder when they're going to get around to plowing it. Hope no one needs to go to the hospital or anything important like that. I hope everyone had a super fun storm stay!

It's been a great day!
Moncton was a blast, and I don't think I bought anything at regular price, except the stuff from costco, which is really at almost cost anyway. Lots of fun was had. I don't think I've ever seen so many people that I knew at trivia tonight, and everyone seemed to be having a great time! Nathan made it to Montreal safe and sound (not that there was any chance that wasn't going to happen), and apparently I'm sexy, or at least Janelle thinks so ;) . Anyway, I hope everyone has a great break, or continues having one, and I'll see you all around!

Today I'm having issues.
So apparently someone is sneaking into our house and eating my food. No one else sees them, and no one who lives here is doing it. Alright, I will venture that I don't always write my name on my food, but I must admit that it would be difficult to do so with a banana, which is the latest thing to go missing. And if we're all about writting our name on food so we know who's is who's, why the hell is someone eating food that doesn't have their name on it aside from me? Really, if someone asked me for food, I wouldn't turn anyone down. But when I go to eat my food and it's completly gone and no one will fess up, I get a little ticked.

Tamsyn's rant for the day
Here's a rule for ya: If you didn't shovel it, and you didn't ask to park there, DON'T PARK IN OTHER PEOPLES' DRIVEWAYS.

Seriously, none of us regularly has a car, so it shouldn't be a problem. Not the case today. I get up, leaving myself plenty of time to drive my dog home and get to work but, lo and behold, there's a car blocking the driveway. Now, it did belong to someone we know, but he was neither staying at our house, partying there the night before, or available for us to get hold of him so I could move. Next, I come home with my dad ready to very nicely plow the driveway, and there's now two unknown cars in the driveway, and we can't find who owns them. Well, we're pretty sure that one belongs to the neighbors boyfriend, but for some reason they wouldn't come downstairs to answer the door to move it.
I know, I know. You're all asking but why, Tamsyn, why don't you just call to get them towed? Well, it must just be because I don't feel the overwhelming urge to be a huge bitch tonight. But tomorrow morning, you'd better believe they's gettin towed.

Not sure why, but that was on my mind last night. Not a terrible large amount to post about lately, went to the Vagina Monologues last night. Lot of brave women involved in that. To the people who get offended by shows like that, don't go. Save your money for bingo. Or if you do go, chalk it up to experience. I'm certainly glad I finally got to see it.
