I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

What a very short weekend.
But I did get to have a bit of fun along the way, so that's always nice. Got to drink wine and eat cheese while having some damn good conversations with Moira Alison and Janelle Friday night. Congratulations to Janelle on her new promotion and apartment moving out venture. Thank you girls, as always, it was a blast. Then I worked a double shift on Saturday, and (thank heavens) my windshield was intact at the end of the night.
And as an update, it was a guy, two of them, little shits who smashed up my van and then chased a bus driving down university avenue. Yeah, they do sound pretty bright don't they? I'm really glad I got to talk to the guy who saw them do it, but unfortunately the chances of them ever being caught or identified as anymore than a couple of 16ish shit heads is pretty slim. But thanks to the mob of wave staff that wanted to hunt them down with pitchforks and torches, it made me laugh if nothing else. And to help prevent this from happening again, or at least make it easier to catch them, they've actually moved a surveillance camera to cover that parkinglot. I was impressed that they did something, but I suppose it would be hard to convince people to work for you if you can't park outside without having your car vandalized.
Sunday was fun, I got to go out for my usual ride, and 20 other horses and their people came too. Cindy (my horse) tried to kick another horse that had a stupid rider, so I was proud of her for that. The lady was not impressed. Meh, she should know that when one horse pisses off another that it gets kicked. Then we had a bbq with a cake that someone brought that said "happy trails". It was super corny, but some of the people there were so cute and into their horses and nature, it was forgivable.
And now it's Monday. And it's early. But that's normal, and it means I have Friday morning off to sleep. That's always nice to look forward to. And, my computer comes soon. Hopefully sooner than later, but I'll have to contain my excitement. Hope everyone has a good week!

To the fucker who smashed my windshield
First off, thanks a lot, that's a nice surprise to have when you come off a nice ol' double shift. Secondly, why the fuck would you pick a goddamn van to smash the hell out of? Was it the allure of the big windshield? Yeah, I know stupid people don't like subtle things, they just feel the need to be really violent. I drive a van that I got completely by windfall idiot. Does that scream "I really can afford an extra 700$ for a new windshield, so since you feel like it, go right ahead and smash this one, I didn't really like it anyway"?
What is it that makes it ok to completely destroy another person's property for absolutely no reason than it's there? There was none. No one left the bar angry, I didn't piss anyone off, no one was pissed at anyone else. It wasn't a crazy night with hoards of drunks swarming looking for a fight. Everyone was mellow, there were like 40 people out, grooving to the band.
How fucking primitive are you to pick up a stick and jump around hitting things. Can you just picture this looser? Just because you're an impotent wank doesn't mean breaking things validates your pathetic attempt to claim your manhood.
I will probably never find out who you are, and that's probably a good thing, since you really aren't going to want to meet me. But you'll get yours. What goes around comes around, and karma's a bitch. She'll get you in the end.
