And now it is Thursday
Vet day for the kitty. That should be exciting since she's already expressed her intense dislike for car travel. I'm feeling much happier that I waited the extra few days so I could get in to see the vet that was recommended to me. Knowing that she'll take extra care to look her over and check her out and not scare her permanently of the vet is very comforting. I'm sure you're all dying to know about my kittens health, so I'll stop now, and keep it to only relatively crazy cat lady.

Now really, I can't just go around calling her that now can I? I am opening the floor to suggestions, and the succesful title must be pretty damn awesome, and encompas all the wonderful little scrappyness that is her. Pictures will come, as they may help to inspire creative response.

Today I was a big ol' crank
I appologise to anyone who crossed my path and felt my wrath. I've decided that my crankiness has been brought on by too much work and classes and not enough fun and enjoyment. I miss everyone! People I don't know if you've all been getting together for lots of fun and games, but but there should be more and I should be included. And give more hugs!

Can I tell you all how early 5 in the morning is?
I'm sure you can all guess. And there's a tendancy for it to be frickin freezing at that same time. My only consellation: the shift is done at 12 noon, and I'll have already worked for 6 1/2 hours. That's a decent shift. Except then I have two more to go. Today is the first day that I'll get to work all three jobs in one day. I was really hoping that I'd just get away with it for the rest of the month and not have to worry about it, but alas, we all knew it was going to have to happen sometime.
Enough of the self pity, I brought it on myself by not being clear enough that the times I said I couldn't work actually meant the times I couldn't work. The room in the basement is very nearly finished, and Dad found the rest of the pieces for the light fixture, so it looks pretty good. I'm so jealous, wood floors would be very nice. But this also means..... closer to kitty time! If anyone knows of some very needy little kittens that are pretty young and need a person or two to hug and play with, please let me know. They will be extremely well looked after and taken care of properly, and they will be indoor kitties. Anyway, if anyone knows of any that are looking for homes, maybe even new barn kittens, just drop me a line (or moira). We should have internet by the end of the day, actually by noon we should have it. But as the trend goes, don't count on that.
And my mom is off to Ontario for about 6 weeks now. I guess these things just pop up. hope it's a good trip.

Quick update
We are in the house. My room is painted, and I really like the color. We still don't have internet, but we do have phone. If you'd like the number, email me or call my cell and I'll give it to you (no I'm not going to post it, silly people). I currently have three jobs, which makes each time the schedule comes out very interesting, but I'm kinda liking them right now, and the center will be finished when the festival is done in October. The biggest thing I have to look forward to? finally getting some sort of paycheck. That will be awesome. I figure by the end of the month all of the clothes that I want to buy will then be on sale. God I love buying clothes for cheap. It's great. And now, off to pretend I'm a student again. Somehow, I don't think I've got them convinced. Holy crap I've missed internet. Gotta love school access.

Biggest test of willpower: Waiting until Moira moves in to find us a kitty.
