Can I tell you all how early 5 in the morning is?
I'm sure you can all guess. And there's a tendancy for it to be frickin freezing at that same time. My only consellation: the shift is done at 12 noon, and I'll have already worked for 6 1/2 hours. That's a decent shift. Except then I have two more to go. Today is the first day that I'll get to work all three jobs in one day. I was really hoping that I'd just get away with it for the rest of the month and not have to worry about it, but alas, we all knew it was going to have to happen sometime.
Enough of the self pity, I brought it on myself by not being clear enough that the times I said I couldn't work actually meant the times I couldn't work. The room in the basement is very nearly finished, and Dad found the rest of the pieces for the light fixture, so it looks pretty good. I'm so jealous, wood floors would be very nice. But this also means..... closer to kitty time! If anyone knows of some very needy little kittens that are pretty young and need a person or two to hug and play with, please let me know. They will be extremely well looked after and taken care of properly, and they will be indoor kitties. Anyway, if anyone knows of any that are looking for homes, maybe even new barn kittens, just drop me a line (or moira). We should have internet by the end of the day, actually by noon we should have it. But as the trend goes, don't count on that.
And my mom is off to Ontario for about 6 weeks now. I guess these things just pop up. hope it's a good trip.
