Went to the movies last night
Good movie. We went to see Tristan and Isolde (my pick not Nathans, yes I dragged him to a chick flick). It was a pretty good movie. Of course it was predictable, but then again, it was a romance, not a suspense thriller. I think the story was more legend and fable than real occurrence, but it was well done, and the scenery was fantastic. It really felt like they were in the woods of tribal England, and then on the rocky moors of Ireland. I really disliked the lead actor before I saw the movie, but he did very well playing his character, and in the end I found him quite tolerable. None of the actors or actresses were perfect or fantastically beautiful, and their little imperfections were left in, which made it more real, less fabricated. When they were pushing boats of shore and a wave hit, you knew that it was really cold from the way the girl almost screamed and missed her line. Well, I laughed anyway. I would give the movie 7 stars.
